See The Trailer for WATCHMEN: TALES OF THE BLACK FREIGHTER

Now available for viewing -- a teaser trailer for the animated DTV film Tales of the Black Freighter, based on the original Watchmen comic-within-a-comic.
The Black Freighter DVD was conceived by Watchmen director Zach Snyder as a way of adapting that portion of the original story despite the already-considerable length of the theatrical film.

Tales of the Black Freighter, the comic series featured within Moore & Gibbons's classic tale of superhero deconstruction, relates the story of an ill-fated mariner who survives a shipwreck and struggles to find his way home. He is voiced in the film by Gerard Butler.

As an additional treat for passionate fans, the discs will include a live-action/CGI rendering of Under the Hood, from the memoir, written by the character Hollis Mason (aka Nite Owl I), that filled the space between some chapters of the graphic novel. The live-action Watchmen finally hits theaters on March 6th, with the DVD set Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter & Under the Hood going on shelves March 24th.
