Why H2 May Be McDowell-less
At a recent SAG Foundation ''Conversations'' Event, Guest of Honor Malcolm McDowell told fans that the Weinstein bros might low-ball him out of Rob Zombie's Halloween sequel.
According to Ain't it Cool News, when the veteran actor was told he was the one-and-only guy to bring Dr. Sam Loomis back to life for the revamp of John Carpenter's horror classic, McDowell said "Maybe you ought to tell that to the Weinsteins! We're in the middle of negotiating right now!"
He added that director Zombie wants him to come back for the sequel H2, even though the actor "himself thought Loomis must surely be dead...and that the Weinsteins are probably wishing Loomis WAS dead."
