The Greatest American Hero Coming to the Big Screen?
A film version of The Greatest American Hero has been in development since 2000, but recent news reveals a director has come aboard.
IGN is reporting that a recent report has attached director Stephen Herek to The Greatest American Hero, based on the TV show from the 80's.
Stephen Herek previously directed Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Critters, and The Mighty Ducks to name a few.
The production details also state that the show's original creator Stephen J. Cannell, is producing the film with Michael Dubelko. Production could begin this summer in July from a script is by Chris Matheson and Ryan Rowe.
