Marvel Enterprises gave investors the low-down on upcoming movie projects during its quarterly conference call. Here’s details.
Marvel Enterprises exec Avi Arad gave investors details of upcoming movie projects during the company’s quarterly conference call.

Arad said:

The Punisher will come out overseas in September. Punisher 2 is being planned for next fall. Thomas Jane is signed on for three films and writer/director Jonathan Hensleigh will also return.

Spider-Man 2 will have a 60-second spot on this Thursday’s Friends finale on NBC.

As previously leaked, David Hayter will write and direct Black Widow and an actress has been chosen but no announcements are ready.

Blade: Trinity’s screen testings went "incredibly well" and New Line will market the film aggressively.

Man-Thing is done and a finished print is inhouse. Testing will be followed by the announcement of an official release date.

Elektra starts production today and will be PG-13.

Fantastic Four starts filming in August as a "funny family action film" rated PG-13. Activision plans a game and there’ll be five toy lines.

Iron Man will be PG-13 as well and spawn the inevitable toys and video game.

Ben Ramsey will script and John Singleton will direct Luke Cage. Actors are lined up but no details were given.

Pre-production has begun on a PG-13 Ghost Rider film.
