Clash of The Titans Remake Movie News

Are you ready for a remake of this Classic movie from the early 80's? Here is the latest news in the developments for one of Holloywood's Classic movies: Clash of the Titans.
Let me start out by saying that this remake of the cult classic Clash of The Titans has to be done correctly. You can not go messing with the plot, chain of events, and characters up to much or you will risk burying this movie before it gets off the ground.

Louis Leterrior is directing which is ok if you like the reboot of The Hulk, and bad news if you don’t. Only time will tell if this director can redeem himself to the larger audiences with a successful reboot of one of Hollywood’s Classic movies: Clash of the Titans.

Gemma Arterton (who has just been cast as Io) has this to add:

“My part is... the coolest part,” she laughed. “Io’s not in the original film. Perseus falls in love with her and then [CENSORED FOR TINY SPOILER]. It’s a really great part.”

According to Arterton, her character, Io is not the only slight change we are getting in this reboot. Arterton goes on to add “The script is very different,” she continued. “Obviously the story is the story, but it’s much more about Perseus’ mission, and how he deals with being the son of Zeus, and things like that, so it feels a little more about him, and about the issues around that.”

Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation) is on board as Perseus, Liam Neeson has been rumored as being offered the role of Zeus. Mr. Neeson has yet to confirm or deny he is attached. Liam is a very talented actor so let’s hope he commits to this project.

Let’s throw this up to chance and hope the studio turns out a good movie and not turn this Classic into a teen drama soap box.
