Filming on Rise of the Apes should begin over the next couple of weeks, and John Lithgow was recently photographed in Vancouver, where production is taking place. In the film, of course, Lithgow plays the father of a scientist (James Franco) suffering from Alzheimer's. His sons efforts to cure him create a domino effect that leads to man's downfall.
