Gina Holden started shooting her guest appearance on
Smallville last week (January 2), in a role that Kryptonsite posits is Patricia Swann, daughter of the late Dr. Virgil Swann (
Christopher Reeve).
Aaron Douglas (
Battlestar Galactica) joined the production on January 8 as a character named Pierce.
According to the summary for the episode "Traveler," Patricia Swann was a childhood friend to Lex Luthor (
Michael Rosenbaum), back when Virgil and Lionel (
John Glover) were part of a group awaiting the arrival of an extra-terrestrial "traveler."
KryptonSite reports that "Traveler" is scheduled to air on March 27th. Since it's the 14th episode of Season 7, and since Exec Prod
Al Gough wrote, back when the WGA Strike began, that they'd turned in 15 scripts...you can pretty much mark your calendar for the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the CW has released an
online interview with
Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan) via phone. Among other things, Mack explains why Chloe can tell Clark Kent from Bizarro (though both are played by
Tom Welling), and discusses her relationship with Jimmy Olsen (
Aaron Ashmore).
Lastly, The CW has confirmed that the next new episode of
Smallville will air on Thursday, January 31st at 8pm ET.
