Natalie Portman to play Jane Foster in upcoming "Thor" movie.

You can never go wrong with having Natalie Portman in your movie, which is exactly what Marvel is doing by casting her to play Jane Foster, love interest and colleague of Thor the Mighty.

Finally! A casting decision I can get behind.

Natalie Portman is my dream girl. Not to mention, she's already every nerd's dream girl, since having starred in awesome flicks like Star Wars and V for Vendetta.

I have high hopes for this Thor movie, not only because Thor is one of my favorite characters, but because they even seemed to do a superb job casting him!

Chris Hemsworth is slotted to play the title role. You may recognize him from playing Captain Kirk's father, George Kirk, in 2009's Star Trek.

I felt cheated when he died at the beginning of Star Trek. I really look forward to being allowed to stare at him for 2 hours without the chance of his premature exit.

Last but not least, Tom Hiddleston is Loki, the god of mischief who serves as the movie's villain.

I feel that this is a nicely rounded cast. Marvel is winning in the casting department every time, for which I commend them.

Although I've yet to see some Zooey Deschanel in any comic book movie, and I think someone better get on that.
And Rachel McAdams as The Oracle. That would make, like, my entire life.
