Liam Neeson Cast in Battleship
Deadline.com is reporting that actor Liam Neeson has been cast in Peter Berg's Battleship, the big screen version of the classic game.
According to Deadline, Neeson plays Navy Admiral Shane, "whose daughter (played by Brooklyn Decker) is engaged to a young naval officer played by Taylor Kitsch. The pics shoots in Hawaii. Alexander Skarsgaard plays Kitsch's older brother, and Rihanna plays Kitsch's crew mate and a weapons specialist."
While the objective of the board game was to sink your opponent's battleship, this version will reportedly have Neeson's vessel serving as an earth defense against an alien invasion.
