Mad Max Can't Take the Rain!
The fourth Mad Max film, Fury Road, said to be a remake of the original, has been put on hold until the end of the year or early next due to severe rainfall in Australia.
Says director George Miller, "We've built the vehicles. We've designed the movie. The principal cast is locked in. The film is funded. It's all ready to go. We just wait," he said. "All the contracts are signed. It's a locked-in film. It has been for 18 months now. We will restart pre-production later this year and begin early next year - weather permitting."
Mad Max: Fury Road will star Tom Hardy in the role originated by Mel Gibson, and co-star Charlize theron, Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer.
