Who is Marvel's Leading Lady?

In general comics are considered to be for males but we all know that really cool chicks love them as much as men do.

Yes DC has Wonder Woman but recent articles both here and at Earth’s Mightiest have indicated that Kara will be WB’s go to girl for new product lines. While Wonder Woman is a great character and a “member of the weaker sex” that could kick most super dude’s asses all over the place she isn’t the bigger sell. She did have a TV series in the mid-late 70’s

but I believe that because Supes already has a huge following and major recognition that Supergirl has a better chance of being lead female outside of the comics than does Wonder Woman.

Regardless if one subscribes to that or not a question remains.

Which Mighty Marvel Madame could fill the same role?

There are plenty of super suffragettes in the Marvel Universe but I have yet to decide if any of them are able to carry a line of merchandise like Kara could. So Carol Danvers aside who has the potential to be Ms. Marvel?

Out of the ones shown in the picture above, I'd have to say Sue Storm. Problem is, she doesn't really carry stories on her own. So if you're looking for a solo person, I would say that they ought to use Ms. Marvel. (I mean, come ON - she has Marvel in her name!) haha

Yeah, seriously, why not Ms. Marvel? Why put Carol Danvers aside?

Haha that's what I'm saying. They could market that gold lightning design or whatever it is on her costume.

Besides, she deserves some respect, we wouldn't know the Rogue we love so much if it wasn't for her sapping some of Ms Marvels powers!
