Die Hard 5: The Latest Rumors

Yippee-kai-yai...rumors are starting to pick up some heat that there is forward progression on the fifth installment of the Die Hard franchise. While admittedly dopier than its predecessors, film four, Live Free or Die Hard, was nonetheless great fun and hopes are high for film five.
Notes Twitchfilm.com, originally looked to for the director's chair was Noam Murro, who now, however, is likely to direct the 300 prequel, Xerxes. Now attention has turned to John Moore, whose credits include Behind Enemy Lines and Max Payne.

Adds the report, "While the directing situation on Die Hard 5 is not yet clear we do have the first real plot details for the picture. In keeping with the trend of each Die Hard movie being larger than the last the fifth installment is going to move into international territory. Our sources tell us Die Hard 5 will be set largely in Russia with John McClane accompanied there by his son and the two drawn into a conflict with local forces. Cue multi-generational wisecracking."

I would have liked to have seen Justin Long come back, but it still sounds good.

I agree. Bruce Willis and Justin had great chemistry and it would be terrific to see the two of them continue that connection.

(Ryan Reynolds Lantern voice) I know right lol, it would have been cool too if they brought back Mary Elizabeth Winstead aka Lucy McClane. But i'm looking forward to seeing McClanes son, he was suppose to be Justin character in the beginning of the early drafts but they changed it up.
