Stallone Takes a Headshot - and Al Gough Comments On It

Sylvester Stallone, who has enjoyed a remarkable career resurgence thanks to the triple-punch of Rocky Balboa, Rambo and The Expendables, will next be portraying a hitman in the film Headshot.
"In the film,," states a story in The Hollywood Reporter, "Stallone's character teams with a young NYPD detective in a high-stakes investigation that leads from the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the power corridors of Washington, D.C. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge."

Among the producers are I Am Number Four/Smallville/Charlie's Angels producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

In an exclusive interview, Gough enthuses, "Miles and I have always been huge fans of Sylvester Stallone. From the Rocky and Rambo films to Cliffhanger, Copland and The Expendables, he is the godfather of the modern action hero -- smart, funny, with the ability to seriously kick your ass!! We could not be more thrilled and honored to be producing HEADSHOT and we hope that this becomes Sly's next big action franchise!"
