Justice League: Cry For Justice is a mini-series written by James Robinson and drawn by Mauro Cascioli. set after the events of Final Crisis, Hal Jordan leaves the League following the deaths of Martian Manhunter and Batman, their deaths has caused Hal to seek out a more agressive manner of dealing with super-villains.
Green Lantern, along with Green Arrow, Supergirl, Captain Marvel Jr and Batwoman recruited by Ray Palmer (The Atom) to investigate a murder of a former colleague carried out on orders from Prometheus. This ties into another string of murders, more murders come's with more members of JLA bringing Starman Mikaal Tomas and Congorrila together as their investigation of the murders of several European super-heroes are also the work of Prometheus.
why is Prometheus doing this and what is is plans you say, well please

Prometheus main goal is creating the ultimate weapon in mass murder, a huge teleportation device which he plans on using to destroy entire cities, as part of his revenge scheme against the JLA for lobotomizing him. after cutting Roy Harper's (Speedy/Red Arrow) arm off and brutally injuring JLA members Dr. Light II, Vixen, and Plastic Man,
