Moving on to the decade of the 1960s the History of Comics On Film has a brand new introduction along with the cultural phenomenon that was the Batman television series featuring the third live-action interpretation of Batman and Robin. This spawned a feature film which was released in the year 1966 to cap off the first season of the smash hit television series.
